Scope
Ford Civil has been awarded the contract to deliver the Rozelle Parklands new community facilities and will construct:
additional amenities building located between the cricket pitch and the shared user path near the Gordon Street entrance that will include four change rooms, amenities, umpire facilities, a storeroom and provision for a canteen facility.
two mixed-purpose courts to accommodate a range of sports including netball, basketball, pickleball and soccer. There will also be sport hit-up walls incorporated.
an additional toilet block, prefabricated off site, to be installed near the existing children’s playground.
installation and commissioning of four lighting towers around the existing oval and four also around the existing rectangular sports field, to allow for enhanced utilisation.
utility works including protection and/or adjustment of existing utilities and installation of new utilities connections to these additional assets.

Key timing
Construction of the Rozelle Parklands new community facilities work started in mid August 2024, with completion due mid 2025.
